Effective Business Change Workshop Business change is a complex mix of creating a vision, defining new systems, processes and procedures; training staff in new ways of working, managing through the (sometimes traumatic) transition period and driving the business benefits through the new-look organisation. This requires a mixture of skills and competences which can be quite different from those required in the day-to-day operation of the business.
Most organisations today recognise the need to deliver change through a structured environment using project and programme management disciplines. Today’s change managers need to be aware of the issues that can prevent effective change delivery and know how to combat them. Workshop summary TCL have developed a 1 day workshop aimed at assisting change managers and other individuals involved in change to deliver their change objectives. The workshop is designed to be highly interactive drawing upon a case study to emphasise key points. The workshop will cover the current thinking on both leading and managing business change as well as detailing those areas that have proven to be the main causes of failure. Delegates are taken through TCL’s blueprint for effective business change before considering the specific organisational roles and responsibilities that are involved. Three detailed sessions are undertaken to tackle the major components of change:
