The team work and leadership will be examined through the use of videos, exercises and case study work, including use of the SimulTrain® project management simulation tool. SimulTrain® is an innovative way to learn the practical implementation aspects of running a project.

In teams of four, delegates complete the resourcing of a pre-planned project before going on to act as the project manager through the life of the project. Delegates are confronted with many of the situations and decisions faced by managers of real projects. They are given instant feedback on the decisions they take and see the impact on a range of project measures. SimulTrain® provides a fun, risk free environment to practice and hone your project management skills.

Delegates leave the course with a comprehensive reference manual and a sound understanding of the fundamentals of project management.

Tailored courses

The course is available for 'in-house' delivery tailored to specifically reflect your organisation's approach to managing projects.  It can also be licensed for delivery by your own training team.
