'Silver bullets' at Central Government Project
Management At the Central Government Project Management conference hosted by Tenalps Events at Church House, Westminster, Allen Ruddock reprised his talk on the 'silver bullets' of project management: " Each year at Project Challenge we see delegates frantically scouring the stands and seminars looking for the magic answers to their project management problems – the elusive ‘silver bullet’. Will it be the latest version of X-Method? The latest version SuperPM software? Or maybe everyone should become a Certified Practitioner? 6 or 12 months later we see them back again – still looking. Training PMs in the voluntary/charity sector Working in conjunction with the Volunteer Centre Westminster who agreed to act as guinea pigs, TCL delivered a pilot project management training course for the voluntary/charity sector.
Project Management Simulation Training at Cranfield
University Following on from the successful delivery of a simulation day in the MSc Enterprise System Implementation Course at Cranfield University, TCL is delighted to announce that SimulTrain® will again be incorporated in the 2008/9 curriculum. TCL use the innovative simulation software tool to put the MSc students through their 'paces' on the management of the implementation phase of a fictional project.
