Profile – Allen Ruddock Allen is a Director Transformis Consulting Ltd, a consultancy specialising in project and programme management. Allen has 18 years experience in business and technology management, predominantly in the financial services sector, leading projects, programmes and IT functions for a number of major institutions including Standard Chartered Bank, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, Barclays de Zoet Wedd, Midland Bank/HSBC, EDS and British American Tobacco. Allen began his career as a trainee accountant in the commercial world before being asked to computerise the central accounting function of a major multinational conglomerate. This lead him into the world of systems implementation, development and project management. Allen’s experience includes: · Managing the re-organisation of the sales force and management for a global inter-bank business; · Programme managing the integration of two banking divisions; · Managing the development and roll out of a global fixed income settlement system for a European investment bank; · Establishing and running the project assurance function for a European investment bank; · Managing the technology provision to the fixed income division and central functions of a leading Investment Management firm; · Developing and delivering project management training for a UK retail bank · Developing and implementing accounting, regulatory reporting and MIS systems for a number of institutions; · Development of project management and systems development methodologies; · Undertaking numerous project reviews and feasibility studies. Allen is a member of The Association For Project Management. In addition, Allen has spoken at conferences on project management and developing and training project teams. |
