Profile – David Loveless David is a Director of Transformis Consulting Ltd., a consultancy specialising in project and programme management. David is an experienced international manager who spent the first 12 and a half years of his career with the Royal Hong Kong Police Force. David spent 5 years specialising in major fraud investigation with the Commercial Crime Bureau before being promoted to Chief Inspector. The last two years in Hong Kong were spent with the Police Information Technology Branch implementing systems as part of the Force technology programme. In 1992 David joined Standard Chartered Bank. For the next six years he played a leading role in managing a high-profile international recovery programme following a business loss in Mumbai, India. In 1998 David returned to UK where he worked in a senior role on a number of global as well as in-country business change programmes. David has over 15 years of experience in projects and programmes associated with financial services/banking. The majority of these have been within multicultural environments and across international borders. Projects include: · developing a cultural change management programme around corporate brand values · managing the business change initiative, including the project implementation of a new web-based information system, for property management · managing a large multi-disciplined project team in India on a complex recovery operation involving other jurisdictions · managing a global project around the Year 2000 risk issue · selecting and implementing a territory – wide major incident investigation IT system for the Royal Hong Kong Police David has developed and conducted in-house training courses on team-building and effective team-working. He is a member of The Association For Project Management, a PRINCE 2 accredited practitioner. |
