A Senior Consultant with extensive experience implementing and managing IT programmes and projects over a number of industry sectors.

John has over 30 years experience in business and technology management, Experience includes the performance of mid to long term interim positions as well as short term value-add consultancy assignments. Areas of expertise include business change strategy and implementation, IT strategy and implementation, procurement including bid management and ITT production, management of projects and programmes of 3^rd party contractors. He has worked for a number of major institutions including Transco, Costain, Provident Financial plc, One 2 One, Sun Microsystems, Reuters, Prudential, AT & T, Andersen Consulting, British American Tobacco, NCR, Norwich Union, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and South West Thames Regional Authority.

John has specialised in Programme and Project Management which has evolve from PROMPT, PRINCE and PRINCE 2 methodologies and includes the setting up and running of the Project Support Offices, the procurement of technology and technology-related services as well as the hands-on management of the programmes and the projects themselves.

Projects include:

	Consulted and provided hands-on management for the selection of IT vendors and the change management preparation for an extensive business change programme for a Financial Services FTSE Top 250 organisation
	Planned and managed the software refresh for a major utilities provider
	Managed the commercial systems replacement for a major UK property development group
	Managed the Technology Services delivery of a large scale Mobile Internet and eCommerce portal infrastructure for a major UK mobile phone provider
	Managed the implementation of a web-portal infrastructure project to time and budget for a major IT services suppler
	Established and managed the Programme Office for the Life & Pensions division of a major Insurance company

John is a qualified Project Manager (Professional Project Management ISEB) and a Prince 2 practitioner.
